Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data I collect through juniko.se, why, and what rights you have. I’ve kept it short, because I collect very little.

Who is responsible for your data

Juniko is run by me, Megan Brunzell, in Sweden. I’m responsible for the personal data described here.
If you have any questions, email me at megan@juniko.se.

What I collect, and why

When you book a call

The booking form asks for your name, email address and company, and lets you tell me where your customers get stuck. I use this to arrange the call, send you the meeting link and prepare for our conversation. If you don’t book a call, I don’t collect any of it.

When you email me

I receive your email address and whatever you write, and I use it to reply.

If we work together

I keep the contact details and correspondence needed to do the work, and the information that has to go on invoices.

When you visit the site

The site doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind. My hosting provider (see below) automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure. I don’t use this information to identify you.

The legal basis

  • Booking a call or emailing me: my legitimate interest in answering your enquiry, and taking the steps you’ve asked for before we might work together.
  • Working together: carrying out our agreement.
  • Invoices and accounting records: a legal obligation under Swedish accounting law.
  • Technical information: my legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure.

Who else handles your data

I use a small number of trusted services that process data on my behalf, under data processing agreements:

  • Google (Google Workspace): the booking page, my calendar, email and Google Meet video calls.
  • Netlify: website hosting.

Some of these companies are based in the United States, or may process data there. When that happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards approved under EU law, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

I never sell your data or share it with anyone for marketing.

The booking page itself runs on Google’s website, so Google’s own privacy policy also applies while you’re on it. The same goes for LinkedIn and YouTube if you follow the links to my profiles there.

How long I keep it

  • Booking details and emails: for up to 12 months after we were last in touch, unless we start working together.
  • Client records: for as long as we work together, and then as long as needed to close the work properly.
  • Invoices and accounting records: for seven years, as Swedish law requires.
  • Technical information: for a short time, according to my hosting provider’s standard settings.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • see the personal data I have about you;
  • have incorrect data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • limit or object to how I use it;
  • receive your data in a format you can take elsewhere.

Email megan@juniko.se and I’ll reply within a month.

If you think I’m handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se. I’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Changes

If I change how I handle personal data, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
